In 2001, she was approached by Emperor Entertainment Group to form a singing Cantopop group. The name Twins was suggested so Chung went with that and formed a partnership with Charlene Choi, someone she is not related to.
The name had a strange effect on their fans as they claimed not to be able to tell them apart when they first started touring.
But as time wore on, that phenomenon ended as Chung and her partner were showing distinctly different personalities.

The body of actress Brittany Murphy has been released to a storied Hollywood memorial park where a private service is reportedly scheduled for Christmas Eve.

A coroner source told the Daily News that Murphy's body was released to Forest Lawn after Monday's autopsy - the same memorial park where Bette Davis, Lucille Ball and John Ritter are buried.

Tomorrow's daytime memorial service will be "strictly private," RadarOnline.com reported.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily News, Murphy's husband Simon Monjack said he and Murphy's mom Sharon are devastated by the "Clueless" star's untimely death from cardiac arrest Sunday morning.

"I haven't slept," he said Tuesday. "Sharon and I are getting each other through, taking turns crying."

The exact cause of Murphy's death is deferred pending toxicology and tissue tests that could take four to six weeks. Investigators have ruled out foul play but booked several prescriptions in Murphy's name into evidence.

Monjack, 39, adamantly denied reports that Murphy, 32, may have overdosed or suffered from an eating disorder.

"My wife did not take anything on the morning of her death that would have caused her to be sick or ill, let alone die. It's beyond even the sickest speculation," he told the News.

"The attacks on me, the attacks on my wife and suggestions that she was anorexic and drug addicted, it's like, look at the (recent) photographs," he said. "Look at that smile. That's not the smile of an anorexic or drug addict or someone in a bad marriage. That's someone who was content with her life."

Murphy weighed 115 pounds at her autopsy, Chief Coroner Investigator Craig Harvey told the News.

That's within medical recommendations for her height of 5-feet 5-inches.

"He has lost the love of his life," Monjack's mom Linda Monjack told The Jewish Chronicle.

A source told People.com that a larger memorial service is expected to follow the smaller private ceremony sometime in the new year.

She can currently be seen in a recurring role on the hit drama "Everwood" on the WB. The show airs on Monday night's at 9:00 PM. She is also currently developing a comedy pilot for the WB entitled "True." The show centers around a young woman whose boyfriend breaks up with her while she is in labor and is then forced to move back in with her parents.

Heche can also currently be seen opposite Nicole Kidman in New Line Cinema's "Birth," directed by Jonathan Grazer. Although a native New Yorker, Catherine spent some of her most formative years in London, where her mother still lives. She is the daughter of the business man Howard Oxenberg (a New York City dress manufacturer) and Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia and Serbia (born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1936). Catherine's sister Christina Oxenberg (born 1962), is a writer, and they also have a younger half-brother, Nicholas Balfour (born 1970).

Christy Chung (1970) is an ethnically Chinese-Vietnamese actress, born in Montreal. She grew up in Brossard, Quebec, a suburb of Montreal, with French and Vietnamese as mother-tongues. She later learned English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

While studying for a career in the tourism industry at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), she entered and won the Miss Chinese Montreal contest in 1992. She then went to Hong Kong (her first trip away from home) to participate in the Miss Chinese International pageant in January 1993, which she won. This opened doors for her to launch her acting career there, despite not speaking a word of Cantonese at the time, and despite her extremely limited acting experience (an uncredited ten-second non-speaking role as a gum-chewing prostitute in Denys Arcand's Love and Human Remains). Youth

Shepherd was born in Memphis, Tennessee to William Jennings Shepherd and Patty Shobe. Named after her grandfather Cy and her father Bill, Shepherd won the 1966 "Miss Teenage Memphis" contest at age 16, and the 1968 "Model of the Year" contest at age 18, making her a fashion icon of the 1960s, resulting in fashion modeling work through high school and after.

Career

She quickly made a name for herself as a curvy 'real woman', which was a departure from the trend at the time of Twiggy-type waifs. This led to regular work as a magazine cover girl, and according to Shepherd's autobiography, it was a 1970 Glamour magazine cover that caught the eye of film director Peter Bogdanovich. His then-wife Polly Platt, however claimed, that it was she who upon seeing the cover in a check-out line in a Ralphs grocery store in southern California, said "That's Jacy",^[1] referring to the role Bogdanovich was casting - and ultimately offered to Shepherd - in The Last Picture Show (1971). Shepherd's role as the sexual ingenue would prove to be one of the most explosive and promising debuts of any film actress.

During the filming, the then 21-year-old was required to film a nude scene in a pool. Actual film shots from that nude scene appeared in Playboy magazine without Shepherd's consent. She sued and ultimately she and Playboy reached an out-of-court settlement, setting a precedent regarding public figures.

Also during the filming of The Last Picture Show, Shepherd began an affair with Bogdanovich that would last on and off for eight years. In her autobiography, she also acknowledged that she had affairs with her co-star Jeff Bridges, the screenwriter Larry McMurtry, and with location manager Frank Marshall, whom she gives the pseudonym of "Producer."

Personal life

In her autobiography, ^[3] she revealed that in 1978, she called her mother, crying, unhappy with the way her life and career were going, to which her mother replied, "Cybill, come home." She went home to Memphis, where she met and began dating local auto-parts dealer and nightclub entertainer David M. Ford. She became pregnant and they married that year. Their daughter Clementine Ford was born in 1979, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1982.

In 1987, she became pregnant by chiropractor Bruce Oppenheim and married him, giving birth to twins Zack and Ariel Shepherd-Oppenheim during the fourth season of Moonlighting. They were divorced in 1990.

She was engaged to musician Robert Martin and lived with him from 1994-1998. In her autobiography, ^[3] she gave him the pseudoynm "Howard Roark" and claimed that he ended the relationship during the couples' therapy session.

Claudia Schiffer was born in Rheinberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, which is a small town just outside Düsseldorf. She was born to Gudrun Schiffer and her lawyer father Heinz Schiffer. She has two brothers, Stefan and Andreas, and one sister called Ann Carolin.

During her school life, Schiffer commented that she was quite popular but felt socially overshadowed by the other girls in her year, who all acted like stars and were very dominant. She has revealed that because she was so tall, she became very shy and did not want to be noticed. She was also subjected to jealousy by others as she came from a wealthy family that were well-known locally in the area. Schiffer became fluent in French and English as well as in her home language of German.

Schiffer originally wanted to become a lawyer and work in her father's law firm. She later dropped these aspirations when she was spotted in a nightclub in Düsseldorf by Michel Levaton in October 1987 at seventeen, the boss of Metropolitan Model Agency who signed her up to become a model.
